AiroTEC Conducts Educational Activities About PM2.5
Particulate Matter to Promote Community
Participation in Monitoring Air Quality

The Asian Center for Space Technology, Geo-Informatics, and Environmental Engineering for Air Quality (AiroTEC), led by Assistant Professor Suphanit Chansong and Assistant Professor Dr. Phathranit Kitthitinan, organized a community outreach activity to raise awareness of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) and promote public participation in air quality monitoring.

Participants received information on current PM2.5 levels, associated health impacts, and were introduced to the “Doi Suthep Index,” a practical tool for assessing air quality based on visible environmental conditions.

The activity was held on April 5, 2026, at Wat Nang Liao, drawing strong participation from local residents.
